On the 9th of May the citizens and guests of Moscow will be able to participate in festive events dedicated to the Victory Day. Main event is the procession to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a military parade on the Red Square. Fireworks will complete the feast.

Russia Day 2019

Russia Day 2019 will be celebrated on an even greater scale.

The most large-scale festivities are held in the center of the Capital – on red square and Tverskaya street.

- The parade takes place in the Central square of the city.

- Concerts. The capital usually hosts several concerts in different parts of the city. The main concert with the participation of famous Russian artists takes place on red square.

- Exhibitions. Exhibitions are held in museums and galleries. Many of them have free entrance on a holiday.

- Fairs. Traditional cuisine, drinks for every taste, various Souvenirs, practical things – only part of what you can buy at the holiday fairs.

 - Festival dedicated to the Day of Russia. Includes exhibitions, historical re-enactments. Visiting this festival, you will be able to discover the history of Russia, learn new facts, watch performances and participate in improvised scenes.

"Samovars". The festival dedicated to tea drinking is held in the Hermitage garden. A samovar with a capacity of 300 liters is installed in the meadow, which is immediately heated on firewood.

- The festival of flowers. Held in the Alexander garden.

The rich celebration of the Day of Russia will end with a traditional salute, which will be released into the sky at 22.00 on June 12, 2019
